BEIJING, July 15 (Xinhuanet) -- Asiana Airlines has threatened to take legal action against a San Francisco TV station that used bogus and racially offensive names for four pilots on its plane that crashed earlier this month.
An anchor for a San Francisco TV station KTVU read the names on the air Friday and then apologized afterwards. The National Transportation Safety Board has also apologized, saying a summer intern mistakenly confirmed the names of the flight crew.
The n airline says it’s mulling legal measures against both KTVU TV station and the National Transportation Safety Board for damaging its reputation and that of its pilots. It has not specified what legal measures it is considering.
