BEIJING, April 17 (Xinhuanet) -- The International Monetary Fund has pegged global economic growth at 3.3% for 2013.
The estimate is 0.2 percent lower that its earlier estimate made in January. The IMF has predicted that the Chinese economy was expected to grow 8.0% in 2013 and 8.2% in 2014.
The US economy is expected to expand to 1.9% this year before firming to a 3.0% growth next year.
The economy is predicted to contract 0.3% this year before picking up steam to grow 1.1% in 2014. The fund is optimistic with the growth momentum in emerging economies.
