BEIJING, March 13 (Xinhuanet) -- China says it is willing to cooperate with the United States on maintaining cyber security. Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying reiterated that China is firmly opposed to cyber attacks, adding that the country is one of the countries that has suffered most from them.
Hua said, "The Chinese government is highly concerned about the issue of Internet security. We are firmly opposed to and crack down on cyber attacks according to law. Cyberspace needs rules and cooperation, not wars. China is willing to have constructive dialogue and cooperation with the international community including the United States and maintain a peaceful, safe, open and cooperative Internet space together."
