BEIJING, Feb. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- ’s powerful Revolutionary Guard has denied that a foreign unmanned drone was captured during a military exercise in southern Iran.

A spokesman for the guard says an Iranian drone was being utilized in the drill as a supposed enemy aircraft. Iran has been testing various drones during the exercise. On Saturday, a spokesman for the Iranian military claimed the country’s electronic warfare unit had taken control of a foreign drone.

The spokesman added that the drone had been forced to land during the military drill. The Iranian military exercise, known as "Great Prophet-8", ends on Monday.
