SANAA, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- The Yemeni supreme security commission said the death toll from Tuesday's fighter jet crash has hit 10, including two children, in a residential area of the capital Sanaa, according to a statement carried by state-run Saba news agency.
In the statement, the supreme security commission said the black box of the crashed Sukhoi 22 fighter jet was found in the wreckage and that a joint air force-defense ministry committee has launched an investigation into the accident. Full story

SANAA, Feb. 19 (Xinhua) -- A Yemeni military helicopter on a training mission crashed in a crowded neighborhood in central capital Sanaa on Tuesday, leaving at least nine people dead and 23 others injured, local officials and witnesses said.
Officials at the operation room of the Yemeni Air Force Base confirmed to Xinhua that a military helicopter crashed near the Sanaa University in downtown the capital, where thousands of protesters against former President Ali Abdullah Saleh have been camping for nearly two years. Full story
