BEIJING, Feb. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- A delegation from China’s Ministry of Commerce met with top EU trade officials last Friday, to find a way to settle the issue without sparking a trade war.
After heading rounds of negotiations with the Europe’s top trade officials, Chong Quan, Deputy China International Trade Representative of the Ministry of Commerce, said in Brussels that China and European Union had agreed to resolve their existing trade disputes through consultations. Chong says China is seeking bi-lateral dialogue as a way to solve trade disputes with EU, China’s largest trade partner.
