BEIJING, Nov. 25 (Xinhuanet) -- Egyptian judges in the city Alexandria have announced they will suspend the work of all courts and prosecutions.
The action is in protest against President Morsi’s declaration on Thursday that all laws, decrees and constitutional declarations he has issued since he came into office in June are final and unchallengeable by any body.
Morsi also sacked Prosecutor General Abdel- Maguid Mahmoud and replaced him with Talat Ibrahim Abdullah. Demonstrators have pitched tents in Tahrir Square, setting up a new sit-in camp to protest against Morsi’s decree.
