WASHINGTON, Nov. 16 (Xinhua) -- Disgraced former director of the Central Intelligence Agency David Petraeus on Friday appeared before U.S. lawmakers, and told them the CIA knew that the attack on U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was a terrorist attack and not something stemming from a spontaneous demonstration.
