ROME, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- Italy's Prime Minister Mario Monti said on Tuesday that common interests prevail between Italy and Britain despite some disagreement after meeting his British counterpart David Cameron in Rome.

The two countries' positions present some points that "do not fit perfectly together, but common interests prevail" regarding the EU budget 2014-2020 which aims at spurring growth and developing competitiveness, he told a joint press conference. Full story
