TEHRAN, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) -- Riot police were deployed in the center of the Iranian capital Tehran on Wednesday after some currency exchangers and protesters "tried to incite unrest and disorder" as the country's currency market was destabilized recently.
Police clashed with illegal currency exchangers and protesters in Tehran's currency exchange district of Ferdowsi and detained several of them, a witness told Xinhua. Full story
