BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhuanet) --A n air raid has killed 30 people in the rebel-held town of Azaz.
Dozens of people have also been wounded as government war planes levelled houses in the town close to the Syrian-Turkish border. Assad’s forces have increasingly used helicopter gunships and war planes against the lightly-armed rebels.
The latest attack came as the Free Syrian Army claimed responsibility for an explosion in the capital, Damascus. The blast targeted a military complex near a hotel housing UN monitors. At least three people were injured.
