New tremors have been felt across Italy, following a 5.8-magnitude earthquake that shook the Emilia region, killing at least 15 people, including one Chinese. The two strong aftershocks were registered around 1 pm local time on Tuesday. The first quake struck at 9 am local time. The epicentre is located about 40 kilometers north of Bologna. It comes 9 days after a 6.0-magnitude quake hit the same region, killing 7 people and causing massive structural damage. Many buildings damaged in the previous earthquake collapsed. The quake was felt as far as Milan, Venice and Genoa, as well as in parts of neighboring Austria.
