Objective To study the efficacy of a new quaternary ammonium salt disinfectant in killing fish pathogenic bacteria in aquaculture in order to provide the basis for the aquatic product disinfection.

A indirect fluorescent antibody technique was evaluated as method for identification of china fish pathogens including Vibrio anguillarum E 3 11, Vibrio group Ⅰ Freshwater subgroup SGL 85 4 2 strain, Aeromonas hydrophila 58 20 9 strain, Cytophaga columnaris G4 strain, Pseudomonas fluorescens 56 12 10 strain and Yersinia yuckeri SC 90 2 4 strain.
