The sample data of maximum mean wind speed per month in some area was analyzed to determine the type of distribution and the distribution parameters of the basic wind pressure with mathematic statistics method.

In order to do reliability designs of tall vessels, probability paper is automatically produced using Microsoft Excel for doing statistic analysis of maximum mean wind speed per year so that parameters can be de- termined for distribution of basic wind pressure on tall vessels.
