浮雕 relief sculpture 只能从一个观赏面欣赏的雕塑作品。以一块底板为依托,由占有一定空间的被压缩的实体构成雕塑个体或群体。又称浅雕、凸雕。浮雕中表现的型体和底板平行的二维尺度长宽的比例不变,只压缩型体厚度,其原则是利用透视原理,按比例近高(厚)远低(薄),在限定的空间(厚度、深度)内,表现出更大的型体。其底板如作背景处理,可加大作品的空间深度。浮雕按压缩的比例,可分高、低、薄3 种,即高浮雕、低浮雕、薄浮雕。
