应用直流电作用于人体以治疗疾病的方法。适应证为风湿性关节炎、骨折及慢性炎症粘连等。禁忌证为湿疹和皮肤化脓性感染。小儿治疗时，其电流强度一般为0.05～0.2mA/cm2。治疗原则是以儿童能耐受为宜，每次治疗时间15～30分钟，每日或隔日一次，15～20次为一疗程。
