性质:又称4,5,8-三羟基-2-甲基蒽醌。暗红色扁平针状结晶。熔点226~227℃。稍溶于乙醇、乙醚、丙酮。微溶于醋酸发出绿色荧光。溶于浓硝酸冷时无色,热时变为樱红色。遇氢氧化钠呈蓝光红色。乙醇溶液中加氨水、碳酸氢钠、碳酸钠、硼砂等均呈紫色。遇硫酸镍呈深红色。遇三氯化铁呈淡绿棕色。遇氯化镁呈蓝粉红色。为真菌成分之一,属蒽醌类。存在于Helminthosporium gramineum Rabenhorst.,H. catenarium,H. tritici-vulgaris Nisikado等菌体中。以蔡佩克培养基,于30℃,培养6周制得的菌体,经干燥后,用氯仿萃取,萃取物在醋酸中重结晶,再在醋酸乙酯、氯仿中依次重结晶精制。为染料中间体。
