| 新闻价值 news value 衡量客观事实是否构成新闻的标准。最早形成于美国 。在19世纪30年代的报业竞争中，各报社老板和主编为扩大报纸发行量，十分重视对新闻事实的选择。20世纪初，美国 、日本的一些新闻学者，把新闻事实的选择标准统一到新闻价值这一概念上。在中国新闻界，这一概念分别由徐宝璜从美国、邵飘萍从日本引进。新闻价值作为选择报道事实的标准，有下列要素：时新性 、重要性 、接近性 、显著性 、趣味性。新闻价值对采访、制作、编辑等新闻业务有直接的作用。 |
