To study gene characteristics of shrimp allergen and discuss the mechanism of food allergy, part of Chinese shrimp (Penneropenaeus chinensis) allergen gene was cloned, and its sequence, effective codes, base composition, codon preference as well as amino acid composition of allergen protein were determined.
