1.古天文术语。说法不一:(1)指日﹑月和金﹑木﹑水﹑火﹑土五星。《书·舜典》:"在璇玑玉衡，以齐七政。"孔传:"七政，日月五星各异政。"孔颖达疏:"七政，谓日月与五星也。"《史记·五帝本纪》"以齐七政"裴骃集解引郑玄注同此说。(2)指天﹑地﹑人和四时。《尚书大传》卷一:"七政者，谓春、秋、冬、夏、天文、地理、人道，所以为政也。"(3)指北斗七星。以七星各主日﹑月﹑五星，故曰七政。《史记·天官书》:"北斗七星，所谓'旋﹑玑﹑玉衡以齐七政'。"裴骃集解引马融注《尚书》云:"七政者，北斗七星，各有所主:第一曰正日;第二曰主月法;第三曰命火，谓荧惑也;第四曰煞土，谓填星也;第五曰伐水，谓辰星也;第六曰危木，谓岁星也;第七曰剽金，谓太白也。日﹑月﹑五星各异，故曰七政也。" 2.古代兵法指人﹑正﹑辞﹑巧﹑火﹑水﹑兵七者。
