将三相电源或负载中的每一相的末端与后续相的始端相连，然后再从3 个连接点引出端线的连接方式。三角形连接中三相负载的每一相都跨接在两条端线上，例如图中的阻抗ZA是跨接在a、b两条端线之间，负载的相电压等于三相电源的线电压。因此，一台每相额定电压为380伏的三相感应电动机， 只有连接成三角形才能接到线电压为380伏的三相电源使用。 因相电压等于线电压，所以有由每一相的电压和这一相的阻抗可求得3个相电流，即线电流是二个相电流之差（见图），即三角形连接的负载只要三相电源是对称的，三相负载电压也一定是对称的，各相负载电流在电源电压一定时也只与该相的阻抗有关。
