  对质(eonfrontation)亦称“面质”。心理咨询和心理治疗的技巧之一,指对来访者的认知方式、思维方法提出异议或挑战的过程。其目的在于推动来访者重新审视其生活中的困难、挫折,克服其认知方式中某些主观片面性,以进一步开发自我。伊根(Egan)认为,质询已日益成为咨询的核心部分,促使来访者发现其言行中的种种自我挫败的表现,并努力加以克服。对质询的要求:(1)可通过提问、反问与深入讨论等方式来质问来访者思维方法中那些自我偏向、自我夸张与自我挫败的倾向。(2)不要否定、贬低对方,要善于开启、激励对方。(3)要以尊重为前提,以同感为堆础,不生硬,不强词夺理,给人以态度诚恳、言之由衷的印象。(4)要使来访者超越咨询者的提问,自发地认识其思维的偏差,产生恍然大悟(5)要力求问而不审,制而不压,以推动人自我审视,自我悦纳。 (张旭东撰车文博审)
