This paper introduces the general situation of Hengquan Reservoir project, expounds the setting up of the orifice of intake tower of water-supply tunnel, and calculates the aerial drainage of water-supply power tunnel.

The optimization program was developed by analysis of geological conditions of different rock sections surrounding water diversion and power generation tunnel in the Xiabandi Key Water Control Project in Xinjiang.
