尿中出现细菌。健康人尿道内存在一定数量的细菌，因此尿培养细菌阳性不能肯定是尿路感染，必须进一步做菌落计数，如菌落计数＞1×106/ml时，可诊断为尿路感染；菌落计数＜1×104/ml者，则认为污染的可能性较大。故前者称之为有意义的细菌尿，而后者称之为无意义的细菌尿。
