bacterial culture

用人工的方法培养,使细菌生长繁殖。细菌的培养,无论在传染病的诊断、流行病学调查、菌苗制备或其他医学工业的生产上均有实际意义。人工培养的培养基是由适合细菌生长繁殖的各种营养料配制而成。细菌培养基可分为固体、液体、半固体三种。细菌在液体培养基中生长后,可呈均匀混浊、沉淀或表面生长三种情况。从生长情况,大致可以鉴别细菌。细菌接种在固体培养基上,经过一定时间培养后,则在培养基表面出现肉眼可见的单个细菌集团,称为菌落。可利用单个菌落来分离纯培养(纯种细菌)和计算标本中的细菌的数目。用穿刺接种方法,可将细菌接种在半固体培养基中。为了大量繁殖细菌,如制备菌苗等可采用连续培养法。
