This thesis paper,from psychological viewpoint,analyze the social factors for the public PE teachers bewilderment and puts forward the relevant strategies aiming at the enhancement of the social status of PE teachers in general universities.

In order to meet the social development need,to adapt the university sports reform and the need to develop,inevitably must carry on the reform to the traditional sports teaching,how has the rightly appreciate ordinary university public physical education quality of teaching become the question which in the current theory and the practice urgent needs to solve.

The factors that lead to the shortcomings of the current situation in pedagogy as a common required course in higher normal school lie in teachers, students , contents of course , teaching method , and administration of teaching .
