In order to meet the social development need,to adapt the university sports reform and the need to develop,inevitably must carry on the reform to the traditional sports teaching,how has the rightly appreciate ordinary university public physical education quality of teaching become the question which in the current theory and the practice urgent needs to solve.

From the perspective of performing quality-oriented education and curriculum reform,this paper studies and constructs the sustainable development of the evaluation system for public sports optional course in ordinary universities,the appraisal main body,the appraisal tendency,the appraisal goal,the appraisal space and the appraisal content.
