审美观念(aesthetie idea)由审美经验积累和归纳而成的概念形态。它是人在社会实践活动(主要是审美活动)中形成的对美、审美和美的创造发展等问题所持有的基本观点。其核心是审美标准和审美理想。它能使审美主体主动积极地接受审美对象的信息。它是在审美感受基础上产生的。它与人的生活环境、生活经历、兴趣爱好、个性倾向及先天气质、潜能等有密切关系，受时代、阶级、民族等社会文化因素的制约。由于社会实践和审美实践的延续性、共同性，各时代、民族、阶级的人的审美观念会互相影响，表现出一些共同特征，但又具有历史的差异性。它促进审美能力的发展。 (黄冬梅撰张条玮审)
