The basic elements of the diversified assessment and evaluation index system were proposed based on the statistics and analysis on the investigation results,and by selecting prudently the key points of diversified assessment and evaluation used in practice teaching.

Starting from the following points, such as creating relaxed and harmonious atmosphere of teaching, the diversity of teaching methods and contents; putting stratification education into practice; reforming the methods of examination and evaluation and so on, the author tries to explain that the students could put their attention, emotions under the plea.

Restructuring the course of construction techniques should be conducted in six aspects,namely,integrating traditional knowledge with modern technologies,employing on-the-site teaching approaches for theoretical study,using multimedia animation demonstration and case-study,instructing learning strategies and improving learning capability,and adopting diversified assessments.

It is of great significance to establish the appraisal and evaluation systems to metalwork practice with specific target,multivariate contents,and variable methods.
