This article has introduced briefly the building of a new H-shaped steel factory of Changzhi Steel group Corporation,including room planning,technological process,major equipment,performance parameter,automatic control system and the design characteristics of the production line.

After analyzing the causes that result in those problems,some countermeasures and suggestions are provided to solve the existed problems in base-joint of H-shaped steel beam,grid frame and steel column footing.
