为大戟科植物油桐的嫩叶。植物形态详"油桐子"条。
【功用主治】
消肿解毒。治痈肿，丹毒，臁疮，冻疮，疥癣，烫伤，痢疾。 ①《草木便方》："脚臁胫久烂，烫伤。" ②《福建民间草药》："消肿解毒，治疥癣，敷烫伤。" ③《重庆草药》："煅灰撒布，治冻疮皮破出黄水。"
【用法与用量】
外用：捣敷或烧灰研末撤。内服：煎汤，0.5～4两。
【选方】
①治痈肿：油桐叶捣烂外敷。(《陕西中草药》) ②治丹毒：鲜油桐叶捣烂，敷患处；或拧取自然汁涂患处。(《河南中草药手册》) ③治疥癣：鲜油桐叶捣烂绞汁敷抹。 ④治烫伤：鲜油桐叶捣烂绞汁，调冬蜜敷抹患处。 ⑤治锈铁钉刺伤脚底：鲜油桐叶和红糖捣烂敷贴。(③方以下出《福建民间草药》) ⑥治刀伤出血：油桐树嫩叶适量。炕干研末，撒伤处。(《贵州草药》) ⑦治漆疮：油桐叶煎水洗。(《陕西中草药》) ⑧治疔疮：油桶叶(新鲜树叶)适量。捣烂和茶油调涂于疮面上。(《北京中医》3(6)：20，1954)
【临床应用】
治疗痢疾、肠炎 取干品加水，文火煎煮两次，药液合并浓缩成浸膏状，加入地锦粉(过80目筛)拌匀，做成颗粒，干燥后加入硬脂酸镁压片，每片重0.5克(含油桐叶生药约2克)。日服3次，每次4～6片。观察痢疾28例，痊愈21例，好转6例，无效1例；肠炎292例，痊愈252例(86.3%)，好转24例(8.2%)，无效16例(5.5%)。
