The higher vocational education graduation appraisal is an important part of higher vocational education;however,the present graduation appraisal pattern higher vocational education institutions adopt is not suitable for the higher vocational education.

In view of the current state of the experimental teaching examination model in an institution of higher learning, this paper explored a kind of experimental teaching examinationmodel about "one idea, one system, one platform, three changes" and discussed the reformation and practice on the model.

This article mainly discussed the great significance of examination model refiormation.

To advance with the times and reform the traditional assessment content and mode,set up suitable assessment mode with characteristics of higher vocational education, bears significant influence for students growing up.

To fulfill this purpose, based on research of the course structure system, exams are to be reformed in aspects like concepts, contents, forms and evaluations so as to implement the ability-oriented assessment mode.

The reform of assessment model of higher vocational education should follow the competence-orientation and implement the "post modularization" mode; .

The necessity, importance and urgencey of the examination mode revolution is related and the idea and methods to reform the examination mode is stated as well.

A new examination mode was presented.

Have carried on the examination mode research in the teaching reform of the course "Ethical Training of the Thought and Legal Foundation",and have adopted the comprehensive point system of the structural proportion accordingly in marks of the examination.
