Being the philosophical foundation of the studies of translation criticism, axiology makes translation criterion bear multiplicity and objectivity, which are based on the truth theory of consensus and guided by the principle of communicative rationality.

This paper holds that based on communicative rationality and with consensus truth as an aim Herbermas,who criticizes the social research method of reality certificate view,the traditional social criticism theory and the colonization of life world as well,establishes a new social research frame and a fresh social theory of criticism on the basis of Hermeneutics.
