According to the changing of the demand for talents in the present development of society and the adjustment of talent training goal after enrollment expansion of local engineering colleges,this paper puts forward the reform idea of classified teaching for advanced mathematics based on extensive subject group for training applied talents.

From the relation between the discipline construction and the graduate student education,the article clarifies the concept and connotation of the university discipline group and the discipline group construction,and analyzes the impact of discipline group construction over the graduate student education concretely.

The expanding of the universities raises the young teachers proportion in teachers group,and day by day,the amalgamation of different disciplines calls on strengthening the construction of discipline group.
