The paper revealed the structure of a local traditional brickkiln with long history, which is used to bake blue bricks and tiles by special techniques.

The theoretical basis and method for designing LHY-Ⅱ type firewood saving brick-tile kiln is introduced in this paper,and the kiln has been developed.

The utilization of brick and tile clay, which can promote the economic development and the income of residents in the county, is certainly important in the development of national economy in in Gong'an County.
