统计误差(statistleal error)运用某种统计方法时出现的误差。统计工作是一项复杂、具体的工作，包括设计、调查、整理、计算、制表等几大程序。每一程序的进展难免发生误差。统计误差一般有两种反映:(l)设计方‘面的误差。指由于总体单位的不确定性以及抽样设计一违背了随机原则和大量性原则所造成的误差。(2)样本误差和非样本误差。前者指由于部分统计单位和统计总体不相适应所造成的误差，后者是指进行调查时误差和其他机械性误差。在统计工_作中最容易造成的误差是原生型的误差，统计数字方而的误差则少于前者。统计误差发现越早，对统计工作的深入、全面地进展就越有利 份旭明撰金志成审)
