The paper defines the concept of corporate social responsibility(CSR)and corporate social performance(CSP) firstly, then reviews the five kinds of theoretical hypothesis on the relationship between CSP and corporate financial performance(CFP) proposed by Preston and O\'Bannon(1997)briefly.
