虹膜中心的圆孔,正常直径为3~4mm。虹膜的环形肌称瞳孔括约肌,该肌收缩时,使瞳孔缩小;虹膜内呈放射状排列的平滑肌称瞳孔开大肌,收缩时使瞳孔散大。瞳孔的大小可以调节进入眼球的光线量。
