A new algorithm for detecting the centre of the pupil is presented, which extracts the position signal of the pupil centre by using the back forth threshold detection method following the two value transformation of the video signal of the eye, which is completed by IC design.

Using eye-gaze distinguishing and tracking method based on image processing technology,and it uses Hough method of circle detection to obtain the pupil center′s position and determine the eye-gaze direction,then infers horizontal an-gle and vertical angle of the eyeball rotation,realizing the tracking of eye-gaze direction.
