This paper reports an empirical study of discourse features of Chinese students English argumentative writing.
本文从语篇角度分析了两组中国学生的议论型英语作文,结果在发现语义衔接方面某些显著特征的基础上,参照卡普兰(Kaplan,1966)进一步发现,两组学生中英语水平较差的一组学生更倾向于使用西方(英美)式的思维模式进行写作,而英语水平较高的一组学生则更倾向于受到中国传统思维和作文模式的影响。
