Supported by the three periodic data of Chinese Resources and Environment Database,at the meantime updating the remote sensing data of land use information in Hubei province using the 2005 TM image,to calculate the provincial normalized coefficient of the year of 1995、2000 in Hubei province and study on different scales of normalized coefficients.

Based on Chinese Resources and Environment Database,the vegetation coverage index for each county and its provincial normalized coefficient of 1995 and 2000 of Hubei province are calculated.
