| 杜鹃花 Rhododendron 杜鹃花科的一属。原产于中国，后为许多国家引种，成为庭园常见的观赏植物 。除新疆 、宁夏外 ，全国各地都有，但80％以上的种类集中分布在西藏东南、云南西北、四川西南。野生种广布于中国秦岭以南，常见于长江下游丘陵地带，东至台湾省。泰国、越南也有。野生于山坡灌丛或林下，是酸性土壤的指示植物。杜鹃花的繁殖可用种子或扦插的方法，用组织培养的方法也已成功。杜鹃花多供观赏。杜鹃花中许多成分有药用价值，有止咳、祛痰、平喘、降压、降胆固醇、利尿、抗菌等多方面的用途，还可治心血管病、风湿等。紫花杜鹃、满山红、烈香杜鹃等已制成多种剂型的药品，用于治疗支气管炎。有些杜鹃枝、叶或花含挥发油，具有浓烈香气，用于香料工业。 |
