但是,来源于MⅡ期卵母细胞孤雌激活胚胎则因为缺乏父源基因印迹作用,其发育潜能受到限制,从而导致其分离获得干细胞的分化潜能也有可能因此而受到限制;由于雄性基因组在胚胎发育中是必须的,那么,利用MⅡ期卵母细胞获得的孤雌胚胎与经性别鉴定的雄性胚胎进行嵌合发育,可以在一定程度辅助孤雌胚胎发育,并且可以用性别鉴定的方法鉴定得到的囊胚内细胞团是否来源于孤雌胚胎。
