秦山核电站 中国自行设计和建造的第一座实用型核电站。位于浙江省海盐县东南秦山。由上海核工程研究设计院等单位设计。采用目前世界上技术成熟的压水堆,核岛内采用燃料包壳、压力壳和安全壳3道屏障,能承受极限事故引起的内压 、高温和各种自然灾害。电站1984年开工,一期工程包括建设一座30万千瓦核反应堆、安装 3台共30万千瓦汽轮发电机组及建设配套厂房和输电设施,1991年建成投入运行。年发电量为17 亿千瓦时。二期工程将在原址上扩建2台60万千瓦发电机组,1996年已开工。
