欧洲最早的建筑典籍。于公元前27年由古罗马建筑师维脱鲁维著，约于公元前14年出版。全书分十卷，内容包括建筑教育、城市规划和建筑设计原理、建筑材料、建筑构造作法、施工工艺、施工机械和设备等。书中记载了大量建筑实践经验，阐述了建筑科学的基本理论。在文艺复兴时期颇有影响，对18、19世纪中的古典复兴主义亦有所启发，至今仍是一部具有参考价值的建筑科学全书。
