In the 1990s,there was an argument about Hsi-yuan Ya-chi in the arts community in China, which originated from Xu Jianrong’s criticism on the article“Hsi-yuan Ya-chi and Hsi-yuan Ya-chi picture”published on sixty’s by Liang Zhuang Allen,who was a scholar from US.
