发展完善了以HA-Pair为基础的基本团簇分析法(Basic Cluster Analysis,BCA):将CTIM(Cluster Type Index Method)扩展为CTIM-2,以表征更多种类的基本团簇;提出用基本团簇类型来标识其中心原子的分类方法(Basic Cluster Label-ing,BCL),BCL结合三维图形技术可简单清晰地描述相结构和纳米团簇的对称特征;并开发了配套的三维可视化图形分析软件。

结构分析法是指对经济系统中各组成部分及其对比关系变动规律的分析。如国民生产总值中三次产业的结构及消费和投资的结构分析、经济增长中各因素作用的结构分析等。结构分析主要是一种静态分析，即对一定时间内经济系统中各组成部分变动规律的分析。如果对不同时期内经济结构变动进行分析，则属动态分析。
