基本分析又称基本面分析，是指证券投资分析人员根据经济学、金融学、财务管理学及投资学的基本原理，对决定证券投资价值及价格的基本要素如宏观经济指标、经济政策走势、行业发展状况、产品市场状况、公司销售和财务状况，评估证券的投资价值，判断证券的合理价位，从而提出相应的投资建议的一种分析方法。基本分析的理论基础建立在以下一个前提条件之下，即任何金融资产的“真实”（或“内在”）价值等于这项资产所有者的所有预期收益流量的现值。
