In Miscellanies of Yuanfeng House,the author,Qiu Hegong,meditated on the past and discussed the present,collected the different and neglected the rare,expressed his laugh and anger,which reflects his wide knowledge and his view of being clear-cut between love and hatred.
丘荷公在《愿丰楼杂记》中就作者周围所闻、所见怀古记今,集异谈珍,嬉笑怒詈。

龙山堂丘公祠（khoo kongsi）位于lebuh cannon，乃是槟城最富有艺术价值的祠堂。公祠即是华人的会馆，一般由寺院和集会处两部分组成。丘公祠是1835年从中国福建省迁来的丘氏家族的人建立的。19世纪末完工，但不久就遭受火灾。现在的建筑物为1906年重建，1950年代改造过的。
祠堂里里外外的雕刻艺术都是出自中国的名家之手，是爱好中国文化艺术者所不容错过的地方，鬼斧神工的雕刻艺术肯定让你叹为观止，赞不绝口。
