In view of the fact that the theories of argumenting and reasoning had ripened in the pre-Qin philosophers books and that the literary features of passages of argumenting were similar to those of lianzhu,it can be concluded that lianzhu derived from these philosophers creations characterized by argumenting.

During Chinese traditional academic history, the study of Pre-Qin thinkers by Sima Tan and Sima Qian formed connecting link position, and contributed distinctively in the aspect of distinguishing the academy of the chapter and studying its origin and development.

Such genres as proverb,epigram,persuading style are evolved from the texts by the pre-Qin thinkers in which even the traces of Lian-zhu style and paralleling exposition are seen.
